September is a busy month for us because Richard and I both have birthdays this month. So for his birthday we decided to go to Payson (a couple days early) and spend the day there with the kids just enjoying the nice weather. We started off by going to the fish hatchery. We got to feed the fish and just look at all the different sized fish. The kids loved it. Here are a couple pictures. .
We then went down by the creek and the kids had so much fun getting their feet wet and throwing rocks into the creek. . .
Richard set the camera on a rock and put the timer on and the very first picture we took like this actually turned out so we were really excited!!
We then went on another hike in the rain, went to Chili's for dinner and then headed home. It was a really nice, relaxing weekend.

Then came my birthday which was awesome thanks to everyone who made it a very special day for me!! Richard was so sweet and he completely surprised me with a brand new (pink) bike which I love and I am so excited to ride it around!! He also took me out on a date the night before my birthday!! Here are a couple pictures from my birthday!! My mother-in-law made the most delicious ice cream cake I have ever tasted. Seriously it beat Cold Stone!!
Thanks to all of our family and friends who made our birthdays so so special!! You all made us feel so loved and we feel so blessed to have so many people who care about us!!

Melissa!! I'm so glad that you guys had great birthdays, and that bike looks freaking sweet!! I want one! That's so cool about the gym membership. Jason and I were talking about maybe just getting him one even though it wasn't his birthday. I mean it would be a lot more fun to work out with him! Right now my only choice is myself! haha, we'll see how that goes though. I'm so happy that you posted a comment on my page though! I have been feeling pretty bummed because I start my job in a couple hours, and I feel kind of nervous because I have no idea what I'm doing! I hate feeling incompetent. So when I saw your comment it kind of just calmed me down, and made me happy! Anyway this comment is getting long, so I'll end it. But I'm so excited to see you soon too!! Arwen always has the best crazy face! Cute pics. I'm glas you had a great b-day. I wish I could have been of the one's who made it great. We'll make up for that on the 18th! I love the fish hatchery pics as always you guys take such good pics.

Your family is so cute. Glad you had a good day and your husband too. I think March will be like that for our family next year, Alora and my birthdays are only 4 days apart so that will be fun.

How Fun!! Our family is full of September birthdays as well. Your kids are growing up so fast. They are so cute. We took Coytt to the fish hatchery about a year ago and he loved it. Isn't the weahter up there great this time of year?

That picture of Richard and the kids making a face is freakin' hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing. I love all those pictures. And your family picture by the creek was awesome! I'm so glad you had great birthdays but next time you'll have to come to my part of the country. Love the pink bike....are you in to pink????? I am, but thought you were too "ungirly" for that at one point. Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. By the way, love the hair wraps that you wear, you look so cute always.
P.S. I haven't found out anything about that race. I was planning on running it but I haven't looked into it.
